Here is my 1st attempt at clothing...
here is the pillowcase dress i made for my friend's little girl. She's one year old this summer! It was surprisingly easy. I've gotta post this on Craftster. I'm very proud! I did the sides and top by machine, and did the ties and hem by hand. I figured it was better to do the hem by hand, as I left a lot of material so that it can be let down as she grows. 2x extra inches should do it! I used 100% cotton twill tape as the ties, instead of using seam binding. Material is cotton too.
